Il tell ya why wilken2002, because they dont seem to care. your not the only one who has had the problem.
people need to learn "its a game , and a game by definition can be either won or lost .
If you take away the ability to win or lose you are no longer playing a game and your time is not spent challenging your skill over another's instead your time is now worthless and wasted.

Still no word from celeris. I sent them a copy of my reciept for proof and nothing. Why is my serial invalid anyway.

If you dont hear from then after sending those details to them,get in touch with me here and il see if i can put you in touch with them.

I'm sick of this registration nonsense. I bought and paid for this game when I could easily have used the hack for it on pirate bay, and yet the people at Celeris still treat me like dirt. I've only had to reinstall this game a couple of times since registering it two years ago, due to general operating system failures, and I've had to ask for a new code each time. Now, though, after asking again they are refusing to respond to my emails. I've sent them the original email they sent me with all the details so they know I'm a genuine customer, but they still treat me like dirt. It's the money-takers like them at Celeris that make honest people like me look elsewhere for products or use readily-available hacks.

Can you mail all your details to me hhwgollogly@hotmail.com as you did celeris with your original serial number and your original email address and any new email address your at now and ill forward them to Celeris.Make it clear and concise as you can so i dont have to contact you to clarify anything.

Its a busy time there at the moment and clearly if its all genuine as you say its perhaps been overlooked or forgotten about one way or another,but ill try and get it looked at for you.

Ps your serial will be invalid due to the fact that your transferring to a new pc or your formatting your existing pcs hard drive and that its being installed as a new install and your only allowed to transfer your game from one pc to another once every 6 months.

I've forwarded you the first email I sent Celeris. From it you'll see that I'm a genuine customer and that I've only had to ask for one new serial code in two years. I've never known any other program maker who insists their product can only be installed on a customer's PC once every 6 months, and I've never known such a company to then ignore their paying customers they way Celeris has. I bought the program in good faith and I should be able to reinstall it as many times as I want to on the same PC, fresh OS install or not.

Thanksgiving is well-passed (as if that was a justifiable excuse not to respond to my emails anyway) and still nothing from Celeris about my serial code. It's a disgrace that I should have to wait this long for a response from them for something I paid good money for. These money-snatchers care nothing for their customers. In fact, they treat them like dirt. There's no excuse for the way they treat them and I will never buy another product from them again. Of course, I have no way of getting a reimbursment from them, and there's no authority to turn to to get it, either. If anyone wants my advice on getting a good snooker game for PCs, steer well clear from money-grabbing Celeris or download the hack from Pirate Bay so that you can reinstall the game whenever you like on as many machines as you like to play on your home network. Goodbye Celeris. I've had enough of you now. I'm using the hack instead. I've paid for the serial code, so sue me if you like. My conscience is perfectly clear.

Yep, they did, but they lied, saying they sent "responses" to my gmail address that had a period, and that because of that error I never received them. If you send an email to pool.pool@gmail.com or poolpool@gmail.com, the email will arrive at the same inbox they share. It's a well-know function of gmail. They tried to pretend they sent responses to an email address I didn't have access to. If they had sent responses to that address I would have received them. They gave me a new serial code but I'd already worked it out for myself by looking at the two previous codes - my initial code and the code they sent me a good while ago after a clean install. I told them to go drat themselves. I'm using the hacked version readily available after a simple search now. It's as solid as a rock and I can install it on as many computers as I like, when I like, and play my kids on their PCs around the house via network. I don't need to rely on Celeris to move their lazy arses into gear every time I need to reinstall the game now. I simply install the hack before using the game and off I go. I did pay for the game, so my conscience is clear. They decided to treat me like dirt, so yes, they can go drat themselves. \:D/

As a further update on this guy with the serial.

He asks for help with his serial,as hes not had a response from Celeris,so like a fool I offer to assist him in getting someone to deal with his issue and like I promised him he would get a reply ASAP and he did.
However having dealt with the public for many years personally I can accept that someone gets a bit pissed off and wants to vent their anger.
in my experience and like many businesses,when you have someone fire off their anger because they have been inconvenienced,then you have to accept that as part of the job,,,,you are offering a product or a service thats gone wrong and someone isnt happy.

You do however draw the line and like many if i start getting someone who simply ends up being abusive,then I wash my hands of them and ignore them and will not help them.

This im afraid is whats happened to him....he will get no future serials.

Ive seen the email hes sent to Celeris and any member of the public who resorts to simple abusive ways in responding proves to me that they are not worth the time and effort to assist them.

Oh and for the record, the chap you were happy to treat as a bad customer could have any nature of problems, one of which was how he was obviously upset at the treatment he got from Celeris and whilst it is OBVIOUSLY granted, the rest of his problems if he had any, are not the fault of Celeris, the very issue he took up with yourselves was YOUR problem, not his. I am assuming of course that if he did indeed spend to buy the game, his money worked ok and didn't turn out to be faulty.

So yeah, way to go 9ball, this might be another case of pushing people closer to the edge... maybe even for kicks.... again. :pottytrain5: Strange how it's the other way around when it's someone the vp3 gamespy chat room care about. :hm:

Try to fix your Celeris fronting attitude mate... before you screw up this version release too. You DAMNED well know my respect for and ability to play Vp3.

When it comes I'd like to buy it without the mind f**k ok ?
I would like to buy it "once" and if it doesn't work on my net connection you can rest assured I will be expecting a fix done by the very people who are hoping it to work with the given technologies or my money back. Celeris. Why ? because all my normal programs work. I in fact don't know another program that doesn't work without having to have a Celeris degree in routers.
Bare in mind this can go both ways..... With Vp3 being as bad as it turned out to be, the Vp4 expose will be more a word of mouth venture than a big global advert and will most likely be marred by the attitude you are fronting up for and on behalf of Celeris.

And yeah... you're welcome for me posting this. A complaints dept is a valuable thing when a company wants to learn and move forward.

You can apologise for calling me a knob on behalf of Celeris though.

Another thing....why isnt perfectionist asking for help,least I could help him as hes not the one with the bee in his bonnet.
