I have watched it frame by frame and both balls moved in the same frame.
At least you can't tell the difference in 30fps recording.
I'm sure it's an easy bug to find in the codes.

A no-score bug of VP3 3C

Never seen this before...I guess the CB hit both balls at the same time?
It may happen in VP4?

Can't score an opening shot in 3C...
I didn't play VP4 a lot since first 2~3 weeks and mainly played pocket pool...now I found that I can't score an opening shot in 3C... In RL you open with some top-right English and medium power, and you'll easily get a "shorter" route but you can still hit and score. If you want to hit OB ...

Re: side at lower speed problem
http://i.imgur.com/GHJYd.jpg Here is another common example. The figure is not accurate at all, just a draft. For 3rd cushion, there is minor reflecting angle difference, which is hardly acceptable. For 4th cushion, there is a big reflecting angle difference. (I mean "angle" difference, n...

side at lower speed problem
http://i.imgur.com/qpLK0.jpg The picture is from the video below. (Don't mind the gaps, it's random.) The CB is going from left to right and really slow at this moment. There is just too much side after bounce. Video's here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IoeVB6d0MIA&hd=1 The reflecting angle s...

No, but let me know when you get to 500. Ok, I got to 600 now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4OtgCWdAOU&feature=share&list=PL5fg1W4HRLNDz39Wg1tBUEOlMukTjne-J When will you increase the point limit to 1000? OMG, that's amazing :coffee2: I can't believe you really tried to do it, so soon! I...

Re: 1 Bug and 1 Complaint
I think it's about consistency. Some people were used to adjust English from the 0-English center point of cue ball in VP. Especially on draw shot, it required more control between English and power. Judging English by "moving how much distance away from the center point" is easier than &q...

Re: Anyone fancy funny tables? (Triangle, Hexagon)
Realistic and entertaining can coexist. I just can't stand poor physics of other pool games so take this idea to VP. (actually I haven't seen any funny tables for 10+ years, just a child recall) It's amazing to play realistic physics on funny tables, and I'd like to play it in a tourny. It's challen...

Anyone fancy funny tables? (Triangle, Hexagon)
We did add a new table, the UK Pub Table. Not too many players have asked for unusual table shapes. Anyone fancy some unusual table shapes? Triangle, Hexagon, Round, Star, ...etc I'm really looking forward to have some more entertaining factors in VP4 after so many years of fighting. Maybe i...

Re: Snooker issue on break - black gets blocked too often
I asked Celeris a similar question by email and got a positive response. VP4 lacks the randomness, you can always do slow-rolling at long shots. We have looked at putting in table imperfections. It is possible and we may add that in time. It is not an easy problem to solve. I do think with the tough...

Re: DROP DOWN MENUS!!
#-o #-o #-o Come on! Don't tell me you never use Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V and Steve didn't use F7 to Build VP4. There are just too many mouse clicks in VP4 now! Drop-down-menu is a very basic funtion for a game. It's due to the 1st update that resolution part had much more choices than before. But I think ther...

Re: VP4 - English Billiards rules
I saw someone talked about this in FB: pot Red outside the Spot, pot Red again on the Spot, then Red goes to Centre Spot --> this is wrong If you apply the rule below, the count should be 1 not 2, only Spot counts. "If the red is potted twice in succession in one break from the Spot or from the...

Re: Snooker important issue - pink spot is misplaced
Wow that's a big issue, we are all used to pot from the current spot...
It seems the pink spot should be right on the link of corner pocket and middle pocket, or as level as the second diamond of cushion when view from the side of table?

Re: VP3 Video Recording (Guide)
I always stutter seriously when using Fraps even with my new PC. But recently I tried Fraps 3.5 and it seems no stutter compared to Fraps 2.8. I'm not quite sure if it's due to the version of Fraps but anyway I can record videos normally now! I'm using WinAVI Video Converter 10.1 to compress and joi...

How to play English Billiards
I only know English Billiards from videos on YouTube. I think English Billiards is about making canons, and getting position for continuous easy scores. I have a question after watching videos. The pro players like to move the cue ball a little in D when ball in hand. And then they make a long hazar...

Re: VP4 billiards table too long + other issues
The follow and draw are greater than vp3, when it's not touching the rail. I haven't played much, so I can only say I feel weird about the route of cue ball too. I guess when the cue ball hits the rail, it curves too easily, too much than it should be on some cases? Do you think it's the same reason...

Re: 500 point limit in straight pool?
Actually we should consider English Billiards for the point limit. The WR is 1276, much more than 14-1. And can we have 5 points adjust below 100 and 50 points adjust over 100? For 1C and 3C it's not enough only with 15,25,50, 5 points makes difference. For English Billiards, 150,300,500 is quite fa...

I think maybe it's ok to enter a random number.

You can intentionally foul several times before the break for now.
