Virtual Pool HD: New version for iPad with Online Play?

Hi!
As a fan of Virtual Pool since its very beginnings in 1995, I purchased and played all versions on PC, Windows Mobile and Android.
Now I would like to play VP on my iPad against my friends, which at the moment is not possible, unfortunately.
Will there be a new version of Virtual Pool released in any foreseeable future running on the iPad 2, and with improved graphics on the New iPad (3), also supporting Online Play?
If this is the case, when will it be released?
