Here is a list of features I plan to add. I will expand on them soon:

For initial release:

- Separate admin system for managing tournaments, players and staff
- Distinguish between "quick" and "large" tournaments
- Single elim, round-robin
- Email verification on registration
- Optional Quiz when signing up
- TD performance report in admin system
- Flyers
- Send messages through system to arrange matches. Players and TD can see if messages have been read/acknowledged
- Web service framework for external applications
- Feedback system
- Recurring tournaments
- General and personalised tournament overview page
- Minor annoyances in existing system addressed (e.g inablity to input loser name after finishing tournament)
- Contributary membership

For future releases:

- Double elimination tournaments
- Leagues
- Ladder
- Team tournaments
- Custom events

Being a TD I find it annoying when I have forfeits in my tournaments. It seems for the most part to be the same people forfeiting every time. I know sometimes there are good reasons for not being able to play but there is no excuse for it happening over and over. i propose a way to keep track of how many times a person has forfeited. Maybe even have 2 options, one for those who forfeit with no explanation and one for those who actually have real issues keeping them from playing their matches. Then as Tds we can decide who to keep an eye on and maybe who needs to be suspended from tournament play.
