I woke this morning to some very sad news.
If your into Snooker youll have been aware of the battle that Paul Hunter had with Stomach Cancer for the past 18 months or more.
Sadly he died last night at the age of 27.
He was a very good young Professional with many title wins ahead of him.
I would like to send my condolensces to his wife and family at this time.

As some of you will know, I played on both of the uk pool tours in 2002/3. I am good mates with many good players. I did not know Paul but one of my regular opponents was in his group of friends. He was always happy to talk to M's mates on the phone, chatting for ages. A very approachable and friendly player by all accounts.
As a player I feel it is a real waste that such a talent has now gone. Skills can never be passed on. As a fan it was sad to hear, I love snooker and he was certainly worth watching, as anyone with a talent is.
2 Pool players from my county team died this year, that's 3 cueman close to me in spirit who have died, a real shame. Nice to see vp3 boards acknowledging it.
