One Pocket Clinic
I have put together a One Pocket teaching clinic. The idea is to introduce people to One Pocket and generate interest in playing the game.
The clinic is a combination of text in your chat window, and example shots. It is done with scripts so you won't have to wait for typing or shot setup.
Please give me feedback on possible dates and times to run the clinic. We can have up to 11 spectators in a pool room.

Your the man calling the shots,so if you propose a time are you calling peak time USA??
That would mean in the early hours of the morning UK and European timezones.
If you chose to set it for a peak time over here then obviously we are talking about early afternoon your time,so it has to be at a convenient time to suit yourself whatever time permitting you have available.
Id certainly be more than willing in informing those in the VP3 lobby about it.

Well ive just finished going to the clinic to see the One Pocket Doctor(Steve)
And all i got to say is that the diagnosis as far as my One pocket skills go is probobly rated as poor .....but the future prospects after the lesson I was given are certainly a lot brighter.
I was invited to look at Steves One pocket script and sat back and saw some table setups and various positions in game.
What materialised during it was going from something as simple as a break off...which to the non One pocket player like myself and many others amongst us seems so simple in other VP games but can be so strategically important for your first shot in this game.
He then went on to give some postional strategy during the game with various tactical shots and two rail bank shots to get the balls to your pocket, but at the same time put the cueball in a postiotion so as not to offer any straightforward shot to your opponent.
I sat and watched as time after time...what Id play turned out to be tactically poor when you see him show you what a good One pocket player would do in those situations.
It was a very informative 30 minutes or so I had and I was absorbed into the nitty gritty of how you should visualise and get the pace on each shot correctly in order to gain the upper hand in what to me seems to be the most strategically played game in pool.
I reckon thereas got to be many of you who have played One pocket, but havent got the shots in your arsenal to play it really well.
If you get invited to Steves Clinic then Im sure youll gain from it.
Excellent idea.
And thanks once again for the invite
