Aww! KelpCod... RIP! : ((`` Saddened to learn of this bad news. We shared Our Love for Pool, Hummingbirds, and Nice Warm Fires In the Fireplace On Cold Winter Days and Nights. KelpCod "Steve" shared a firestarter method with me, that I appreciate much, as It Works Great!! And, usually does the trick...and, I always think of him and send praise when I am getting a fire going in the winter. Also..some insight to hummingbirds and fascinating information of the little delicate birds, and, his experiences with them in the Cold of the Winter. Like how they'll let you know they're around..or back in town and needing some Energy in their feeder. He had a hummer fly right into his chest and bounce off him, dang near in the middle of a blizzard, prompting him to bring in the feeder to fill it up for the little guy. *`) During that conversation, he enlightened me to having to put a heat light on the feeder to prevent it from freezing..and, how yes! They can survive in winter weather and that if ever a hummingbird sticks around and doesn't migrate--it's because it is unable to make the journey, but to keep filling the feeder and, if nec. get a lamp so the sugar water won't freeze. Well, sure enough...I had a little hummer that had to stay behind one winter, that made sure I knew it was there....by hovering right in front of my face one morning, after a very Harsh Cold And Windy Night..well into 2 weeks after all the others had done left. So...you know what that prompted me to do, immediately ;) YEPPERS! I Got THe FEEDER In -- got it cleaned and Filled up and back out for it, and, I do believe she survived all winter long. Thank You KELPCOD!! So Sorry to learn Of Your Passing!! Peace to you, My Friend!

Here's the firestarter method!! 3 things ... an EMpty EGG Carton (styrofoam), some wood kinnling or saw dust, and CANDLE WAX
put Kindling wood chips in Egg Crate's compartments, Melt Candle Wax drippings all over And, there
ya go....Cut them out and use as your Fire Starter.
Awww! :```(((```` My Condolences!!
