NEW OFFLINE VERSION 4.1.2.4 NOW AVAILABLE

A new update for VP4 Offline is posted. Note that we are not using the same updater anymore. To get version 4.1.2.4:

• Log into your account at: vponline.celeris.com. This is the account you created when purchasing VP4, the user name is your email address.
• On the lower right of your My Account page, click the Charge History tab, find the VP4 purchase line and click Details.
• Click the download button for the update version (if available) or the full version.
If you have trouble accessing your account email support@celeris.com. This update is a full version, it will require you to uninstall VP4 and then install the new version.

I've downloaded it now from my online account page. If you've got a gaming mouse like the G700 from Logitech, for example, don't dispair if all the mappings fail on first startup. Just close the game, start it, and all those settings will be applied. Right, let's play!

I checked my VP4 version and it says 4.1.2.4 ( although it also says it is a demo ).

Is this the same?

It may well have been up for a week but its only now officially announced by Celeris.


I havent checked to see if its listed as a demo if it is its a typo and should be ignored anyway.

I've just purchased VP4 and when i click on the download button the file is 0.0MB, not sure if this is related to the update.
Have emailed celeris support.

Im having the same problem. I follow instructions as described in the OP, but I just get a file one with 0 bytes

I beleive that Celeris are in the middle of fixing the down,load for the update to a new server.

But dont quote me on that..
I will talk to Steve Chaplin about it,in the mean time if you get your download working please let me know.

I just tried to get the new update and it seemed to work but I got a file with 0 bytes that was not a valid win32 application. Of course I uninstalled the old version first so now it's back to VP3 for me.

Spoke too soon. I got it but the graphics are all screwed up. I sent an email to support.

@sigsky - Please do the following.

1. Uninstall your vp4 offline
2. go to c:/ program files / celeris / Virtual Pool 4 / SAVE THE FOLDER "vpfiles" to your desktop (this will save your protour / training / lessons ect...) REMEMBER if you have windows 64-bit go to c:/ program files(x86)
3. NOW go back to program files / celeris / AND DELETE THE "VIRTUAL POOL 4" FOLDER (make sure the game is closed)
4. REINSTALL OFFLINE VERSION 4.1.2.4
5. go back to c:/ program files / celeris / Virtual Pool 4 - REMEMBER if you have windows 64-bit go to c:/ program files(x86)
6. Copy and past the vpfiles folder that you saved on you desktop (Remember just to replace the folder you have)
7. This will sort the game out - any questions contact me :)

IF you had problems trying to get the latest version and getting no download.


A new update for VP4 is posted. Sorry about the delay but we needed to get it on a CDN to handle the download bandwidth.

Note that WE ARE NOT USING THE SAME UPDATER ANYMORE. So the in game updater on your current version will not work.

To get version 4.1.2.4:

worst than the first....
think they are backing up with how mine plays......
messed with all my settings and it still sux......
like hitting with a rubber stick with no feel, and balls feel like bowling balls colliding.......
very poor excuse for an upgraded game here.......
vp3 is leaps and bounds better .......
and all that waiting and hype for what ?

When in the graphics settings, there is a button down in the middle and it says "auto set for computer". Try that one. For me it helped. Needed to tweak my mouse, but also in the mouse-settings there is a button "auto set for computer"
I have my mouse speed now at 25, but that is different according to the computer you have.

I tried installing on a fresh Win7 machine with ALL the updates, and I get this check for DirectX and it says there is none installed? It won't install? I checked and my Directx 11 is running fine. Any ideas?
