Virtual World Snooker Champion 2007

Post by 9balldotcom »

VWSC 2007 ITS ALL OVER

At last after a months tournament play we at last have a new Virtual World Snooker Champion and its Sharkey9 who beat Tonysam1 by 18 frames to 10.

In a close first two sessions Tonysam1 had the one frame advantage at 7-6,then his worst session of the Championship meant he had a mountain to climb in the final session being behind at 15 frames to 10.

Sharkey9 however did what he had to do and capatilised on Tonys mistakes as well as the bad running Tony had,but thats snooker.

Tonysam1 was the most consistent all the way through the tournament, but alas its frames on the scoreboard that counts and in the end the guy with the nerves of steel came through (ill remind you he was my tip for the title)

Tonysam Im sure will be back to his very best soon enough and be ready for next year.

Congratulations to Sharkey9 on being the new VWSC of 2007.

Thank you to all that took part and ty for your cooperation in the event.

See you all next year

This year there were 126 breaks of 60 or more, whereof 19 centuries. I think that's a record in centuries. Probably due to the fact that 3099 had tougher tables.
