1995 version Virtual Pool

Post by Gramps »

My version of VP was published in 1995. What version is it and how do I get it to play on wWindows XP? I had this same game on my last XP but forgot how to get it to play. I remember having to modify a program file, but forgot which file and how to modify it. Please help.

He's talking about VP, not VP3.

I have no idea how to make it work.

I was told that because it p[lays in MS/DOS format that I had to modify a program file. When I modified that file, the game played just fine. Any ideas?

For many DOS programs that made use of the DOS/4GW extender, the drop-in replacement DOS/32A can be used to make the program run better - if not directly under Windows XP then under DOSBox.
