The Designer needs to step up to the Plate

Post by conniegeo1 »

Ive read of some of the Problems your having , Your customers are your Gauge of Business . Like one of them said he can never get in a game and another said just look at the Tourneys ,No ones in them .Little telltale signs of a business gone bad . Bad management practices lead to bad Business . You have One big Cheerleader only (9balldotcom) You notice he never says a Negative note about the game ,thats how you can tell a cheerleader everytime . You run a little Click where you call the shots . Well you have a surprise coming . If someone doesnt wake up . You have BIG Flaws in your armor, that is going to be like termites and eat little holes in your game and your pockets . TIME TO WAKE UP AND LEARN WHAT TRUE BUSINESS IS . You Little Boys dont have a clue . Geo

Yes VP3 is a great game with its flaws and till someone cames along(remember theyve had 7 years to better it) and betters it then its still the best game ive ever played.
Stick to your opinion cos thats your choice and hope to see you soon in the lobby.......we are still waiting

There are many who play VP3 and we have all posted our comments to Celeris about VP3..yes we have all been frustrated at times about the game...but we all still love it....you clearly dont
As Ive said before your opinion is very much based on your inability to get he best enjoyment of the game by playing it as it should be online.

The obvious fact is that your not getting any fun from the game...so no doubt we wont be hearing much from you in the future then.
perhaps your time here will be short lived.

Name a pool sim that's better than VP3 - you can't.

The game has been continually improving for 7 years and the large number of patches/upgrades confirms it. It's the most accurate simulation of billiards available on pc, there's no doubt about that. When people still buy a 7 year old game, I wouldn't call it a bad business "with big flaws".

And the best thing about VP3 is the online part. But you wouldn't know about that because you've never actually played the game online, so you're not getting much fun from the game. You said this in a previous post: "And Playing Online ,Some have cheats enabled ,some have Toggling enabled ,Computors are made to cheat and those who know how to use this to their advantage can and will". Well you obviously have no clue about what's going on. Only kids think they know everything without any experience to back it up and without doing any research, you can't do that, pretending won't get you anywhere. You have never even been in the VP3 lobby. I think someone else is the "little boy" here.

Concerning business, the only thing that really needed improvement in my opinion were the advertising methods.

Judging by your recent activity, you've got enough courage to make William 'Braveheart' Wallace look like an alpaca with a heart condition.

Now, I'm all for people expressing their opinions, but really - we get the message. You don't like the game. So move on. But faults allowing, as others have said (and will continue to say), VP3 is the current standard by which all other billiards simulators must be judged. In fact, even VP2/VPH remains ahead of any non-Celeris competition you'd care to mention - and that was released over a decade ago ...

It's precisely because this franchise has proved to exhibit so high a standard of quality that people still populate these forums - many of us experienced players of the real thing with a true appreciation of what's truly been achieved.

If you happen to stumble upon a superior simulator, then by all means do share your discovery with us and we'll only be too glad to check it out for ourselves. For the time being, though, the competition has succeeded only in providing better front-ends, presentation and occasionally, A.I ... Thus far, we're still waiting on something that can come close to the physics, playability and believability of VP3.

The game is seven years old.

So, why not start a campaign against Space Invaders or Pacman?

So much energy - and it's all negative - sheesh.
