Why Buy Cue Sticks?

At the risk of revealing myself as a green amateur, I ask someone to give me a good reason for spending hard won "money" on a cue stick when the game provides one that works.

If your talking about the vp3 career mode or even online purchasing of cues then theres no particular reason apart from cosmetic.Yousimply buy a cue cos you like the look lof that one over another and there is no benefit to be had in doing so.
However that should be different in VP4 as youll have a variety of differing cues including jump cues as far as we know and that should enhance your game play.
