Fronthand/Backhand English??

I am aware that you can use Aim Mode (A button) to change the angle of your cue. However, this also moves the player's line of aim. More importantly, when English is applied (E button), the cue moves parallel to the player's line of aim. This is bad; parallel English is no good. I currently have to adjust my Viewpoint (V button, little green circle on screen), and then toggle back to Aim mode to move the cue, then adjust my viewpoint again, and this takes a long time to get the angle of my cue correct.

Instead, is there a way to move the angle of the cue stick independently of the player's line of aim? I.e., I want to be looking at the object ball, and I want the cue to move without my head moving. This will allow me to apply the proper front/backhand English required to compensate for squirt and swerve to make shots with high amounts of spin (like I do in real life).

I need this feature or the game is unplayable to me. Is it available in Version 4?

Another thing that works a little better is setting up a custom player view with Ctrl-W, then aiming, and tapping Y to temporarily view the custom view while aiming. But this is more of a hack.

Is there any way to move the angle of cue-stick from side-to-side without moving the player's line of aim?

Could I talk to one of your developers and buy a patch for this, if he'd make one?

Interesting, never heard anyone ask for this before. I don't think many people aim like this. I tried one pool game that was like this and it totally threw my aim off. Try posting on VP4's facebook page about it if you want it done for the next generation of virtual pool. It won't happen for VP3 cause it's not being updated anymore.
