Higher resolution helps with VP. A standard mouse does not have the resolution or dynamic range to get the sensitivity needed for superior cue ball speed. There are some cheaper than the Razers, but none quite as nice, plus 9 buttons. Might even be able to use those on VP4...

Best mouse I've ever used for VP3.
The seetings are so flexible, with a little playing around you can actually emulate the behaviour of any other mouse.
That's pretty cool if you really like your old mouse but its about to break and they don't make it anymore.

Other cool features:
It saves the settings in the mouse, so you can easily transfer from one computer to another.
You can assign macros to the buttons.

Ok i admit it Ive got a g5 when i bought it it was £45.00 soon as it came out and has been the best mouse i have bought, however i use it for shooting games,I prefer the notebook smaller mouse for vp3.

Remember this old Chinese proverb " Confiscius say Man who brags about the amount of buttons on his mouse is sadder than 9balldotcom"

VP4 controls for a 9 button mouse.

1.To shoot with
2. To zoom out and in with

Buttons 3 up to 9....to brag about :bs:

You gotta be an idiot to buy an expensive accеssory. This ain't pro 9ball tour , it's just a game. So what mouse you use rarely matters.. :stupid:

Actually it is the other way around. Pros or anybody else playing real pool with an expensive cue are paying for looks, name, not functionality. A good one piece house cue like a Dufferin can play as good or better as a $5K cue.
At least with the expensive mouse you gain capability.
