Dirty balls and humidity - worst enemy

I aimed like in vp4, I missed the balls by a full diamond. I went out of the pool hall, it was raining outside. Lots of humidity.
In vp4 it's necessary to overcut every ball when practicing, otherwise you miss them in real life. I have been playing wrong all along, I always hit too thick, but I need to hit too thin.
When you are on the 9-ball you need to slam it in to avoid throw, no soft shots like in vp4.
Real pool is hard, you need to adjust to different humidity levels. Maybe I will install a hygrometer in my cue case that measures humidity, good idea?
