Here's an example of 1st person view: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5nJlVAgo-1I I find that the lower the viewpoint, the easier it is to pot balls. But judging angles for position play is easier when you're aiming a bit higher up. I guess that's similar to real life since snooker players play with ...

just go download some instructional videos if that's what you think is missing. it's not something that needs to be in the game.

Arcade hall vp3

Have I dreamt this or is there an arcade hall version of vp3 complete with a cuestick that you use instead of a mouse? I have a memory of seeing a picture of a machine once, but now i can't find it so perhaps i'm mistaken.

Maybe I asked this once before, I can't remember.

Yes this is a good idea. I don't think Celeris will lose any money if this happens. The only players who will use this offer are 3099 players in the lobby who hear about it from others is the lobby, and perhaps they will tell some of their friends. But not many potential buyers would use this offer,...

Congratulations and well done, Alinville. Well done Stub on making it to the final. Seemed like a close match. Good job Hugh, hosting the tournament. Seemed to me it went rather smoothly. Lets hope someone picks the baton and does another 9-b wc next year.... we can't have a punk kid like Alinville ...

You can also choose to ignore all people in the room, or just all spectators.
Type /help to see a list of all commands.

Pool on money gaming sites

I've been seeing more and more so called "skill based" gaming sites where you can bet and win/lose real money (for example http://www.play89.com/EN/index.html or http://www.king.com). Most of these sites have pool as one of the games available. The thing is that the pool games are really c...

thanks :) Was a close final. Most of the games were very even and could have gone either way. I won a few close ones at first and got a lead, but Franck didn't give up much like in the snooker wc and almost won it in the end, but at 13-11 i won a very close one... think we had a few shots each at 10...

Banishment sounds good. even if you have an excuse or people can just think one up. Maybe some sort of agreement will be enough. like terms and conditions for the leagues that every player has to agree to. kind of like those things before you install a program, you give your word of honour to obey t...

How about a league with lots of TDs helping out at the same time? If we have several divisions as we did last time, there could be one TD responsible for each division.

Satmans system was nice and worked well, and if he lets us use that, the leagues could start up pretty soon.

This year there were 126 breaks of 60 or more, whereof 19 centuries. I think that's a record in centuries. Probably due to the fact that 3099 had tougher tables.

I think that it's a good idea basically. Feels a bit strange to copy the names of the tournament when those names have nothing to do with where we are playing. Also Hugh has talked about something similar to this i beleive. with virtual earnings and stuff. And he does the Virtual WC every year, so m...
