I just played it a lot, and it made me learn a lot about pool physics. But I guess you can play around with the tracker in practice mode to see how different english and speeds affect ball reactions.

A guy I know gets an error message when trying to play VP3 on 64-bit Vista. Something about administrator rights, and the game refuses to start. He has no multiple accounts on vista, so he is logged on as administrator and he has also given vp3 exe administrator rights.

You could try changing the resolution of your desktop manually to 800x600 before starting VP3. Then you change the VP3 resolution to desktop mode, and then you change the resolution of your desktop to your normal resolution again.

Or get the DL version - it supports widescreen resolutions.

Fair format. Problem is new players who have few, or no games, played on the tourney system. The fewer games played, the higher chance of a statisitical deviance from the long run percentage of a player. This could be solved by temporary handicaps made by the TD based on info gathered about the play...

Or you can use my ultimate handicap format.
