I have the VP-Hardy version, without CD, maybe that makes a difference.
I have the Nvidia 8600 GTS version so that is close to the same.

Re: VP3 on Linux Ubuntu
I just tried to update wine to 1.2 from http://www.winehq.org/ , but I can't get it installed. I am no real Linux goeroe. I just started with it, because it's much more save than Windows.
The way of just exactly copying THIS did not work out.

Happy birthday to VP3 \:D/ I played it ( mostly off line ) since day 1 and it survived many new windows installations since :master: Sometimes I even avoided new sound-card updates on my old computer, especially for VP3 as the game sounded not good with a new driver. No probs with my new system and ...

I think it is a good idea but I wonder how we can pay with a credit card to a particular person rather than a company.

Ah, so Vpool Gold is not canceled? I was thinking so after the last not-so-hopefull posts at the VPGold topic.
That's good news. Also a linux-version is a welcome addition.
When did Celeris brought this news?

Re: VP3 DL Version 3.3.1.1 Problems
You shouldn't have problems with the G5 on any kind of surface if you updated the firmware to the latest version (1.2). You are right; I checked the installed firmware and that was the wrong one. Some CID-generic optical mouse driver. I googled for the 1.2 firmware for the G5 mouse and installed it...

Re: VP3 DL Version 3.3.1.1 Problems
When I try to hit the bal slowly, moving my mouse forward slowly, on occasions the game suddenly plays the shot while I am still moving the mouse forward, resulting in a shot where the white bareley moves. I have a Logitech G5 mouse. Maybe a patch can be released for that? I tried many mouse-sensiti...

Hello folkes, happy to be back after a while. Good to see very interesting discussions like this :) I think Vsnooker and snooker differ most in the cue-action. In Vsnooker you have a perfectly straight cue-action and in real snooker you sometimes don't. That is in particular different on a real snoo...
