To my knowledge the ball tracking function only works offline and in trickshot mode.
I never play the game offline so perhaps this will be confirmed by someone else

I beg to differ Fritz ,the firewall most certainly does or can interfere with installing the patch. As of today the new patch for VP3DL has officially been released and consequently to play in all future tourneys run by myself you will be required to have this latest version installed.

The new patch is or was available for download from Celeris,but there have yet again been some reported issues with it.
Till these are resolved i wouldnt install it for now
