Yes, the pivot point is further back. Mainly because we took some of the deflection out. We also moved it back a little more as the pivot point for the deflection point requires a very high speed shot to aim correctly because the ball curves back. Pivot point aiming is never going to work perfectly ...

I think I have this all correct. Though the spotting needs more testing. Found another issue today where the red count was wrong off the break.

Unless you can clone me, it is going to take a while. And if you could clone me all we would do is fight as I'm part Scottish and therefore, very difficult to get along with : )

I'm pretty sure this is your AV. Turn off your AV, run VP4, register, exit VP4, turn back on your AV.

Adjusting it might be nice though I'm not sure why you think this is not realistic. The pivot is at where the pivot matches the deflection, and it is not a 6 or 7 inches, none of the cues deflect that much, it varies but all of them are much longer than that. Fixed the baulk, not the full width, checks to see if cue ball moves outside of baulk on the shot.

The count now only increments if the red is on the spot The "pot-off-the spot" counter also should be reset to 0 if the player changes. It seems not to be the case currently in VP4. That is correct now I think the VP4 definition of baulk is incorrect for EB. VP4 is considering the D baulk ...

The break rule has been corrected.
We do implement the total snooker rule, except we currently don't check the case for total snooker with BIH in baulk.

The pivot point is slightly behind the pivot point for the shaft based on its deflection. We don't have an interface to modify it.

c:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Celeris\Virtual Pool 4
or if you are on XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Setting\Celeris\Virtual Pool 4

Also include your serial number, I'll find that and reset it

We will look at it, but I can't guarantee VP3DL will be supported on it as I'm not sure what will be required.

Your comment were reasonable and pretty close to why the felt is probably too bright. We took the color samples from a photo.

Questions on this: 1) Indeed there seems to be an error here. If the red gets knocked off on a shot by the cue ball, then potted from this new position, not on the spot, it does still count that as on the spot, so that needs to be fixed. It seems like the only way the red will not be on the spot is ...

That is the mode where you are standing over the shot aiming with your body, pressing A puts you down on the shot with the cue. This is a more natural way to aim. If you want the old VP3 way, Settings/Camera/Aiming, set to Last Distance.
