Re: Foul on the highest color?
It's as Fluke says. In the match you watched on tv the pink must have gone in, no other reason to award a 6 points foul. So an extreme example: you're shooting at a red ball but mistakenly hit the brown first, after which the cueball directly hits the blue, the pink and the black in that order. If n...

Re: Enhance VP3 graphics with AntiAliasing
Ehm... can't tell much from that, but is it a screenshot you made? Ghosting is basically a fast-fading trail of something that moves on screen. The image above looks static, so it's definitely not ghosting. But more importantly, ghosting and such monitor issues don't appear in screenshots, so I'm no...

Re: Enhance VP3 graphics with AntiAliasing
Your issue is called ghosting and it's something common on a lot of LCDs with higher ms response times. More expensive LCDs usually have extremely low response times (e.g. 2ms which is better) so the ghosting becomes unnoticeable. It's something you get used to after a while though and won't be so o...

Re: Snooker Career in VP4
Hi. Quoting from VP4's official Facebook page: "VP4 can now play any table in any room." "This change was a requirement for Pro Tour Career unless we were going to play all Snooker tournaments in Loch Lomond. It is a little lame for a pro tour to have all events in one location. But i...

Re: How Do I get Gamespy to find VP3DL? Error Msg "Can't Open A
Do you have any older version of VP3 installed on your computer as well? It gave me that error when I first installed VP3DL not having first uninstalled VP3 3099.
Uninstall everything and reinstall VP3DL, that should work.

Re: transferring fails
Your new working serial should be identical to the one you have now, except the last 4 digits. So: copy-paste it, then replace AE0A with AF0A.
Try that and let me know if it works.
No you shouldn't have this issue again in 2 years. You should be playing VP4 then anyway

Hello,
Paste here only the last 4 digits of your serial (A?0?). Then I can tell you which new working serial you should have received on email.

Your resolution issue seems related to http://celeris.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2159 ... this is how he fixed it: OK, got it working. 1) Uninstalled VP3 DL 2) Deleted the reg key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Celeris\Virtual Pool 3 DL\Current Version, to ensure a clean uninstall 3) Disabled Cro...

Re: New Computer -- dont get new serial from Celeris
Very strange. Well you could try one last thing, no idea if it works though. Go to Registry (regedit) and search for CVP3, that will direct you to the serial of VP3. Handy trick for those that don't have it saved anywhere. Anyway on the right you will see Full Screen X and Full Screen Y, double-clic...

Re: New Computer -- dont get new serial from Celeris
You haven't made any changes whatsoever to your computer except only adding a new serial?
Try this... go to Settings - Graphics and turn Hardware Acceleration on. Then restart VP3 and see if anything changes under Video Mode.

If "best" means the highest level of play and consistency ever reached by anyone:
3 cushion/billiards - Kere
9ball - GLEN and LobsterGuy
8ball/snooker/everything else - GLEN
Rest of the top players mainly won things when the guys above didn't play.

Re: Enhance VP3 graphics with AntiAliasing
:ontopic: I forgot to mention, if you're trying to record using Fraps while having AntiAliasing on, it might not work smooth at all. I can't explain why but for example if I set AA to 8xQ it makes it impossible to record anything smoothly but if I set it at 16xQ which is actually higher, it records ...

The videos must have at least 1280x720 resolution in order for the HD option to appear on YouTube.
