I think it is a custom format, this question has been asked before and I don't think there is a way to use those files yourself.

I haven't been spending much time at home which is where my laptop is that runs gsa etc. While away from home I use my netbook which doesn't have gsa on, :p

Did you try to install VP3 under Wine1.2? I've not tried that yet, so I might try in the morning (It' 00:15 here now).

I can't seem to be able to persuade the mouse to work correctly with VP3 and VirtualBox, but I still have some more ideas yet..

UPDATE: Ok, GSA is working fine now. Just need to see if I can sort out the mouse issue with VP3 under VirtualBox...

I decided to dual boot my laptop with ubuntu and winxp, so I had a go.... I had no LiveCD so I thought I'd use VMWare to install using the ISO I had but allow VMWare access to my physical/real HDD. Installed fine, reboot PC, and got a major GRUB_RESCUE error... Oh dear... Thank God I have a working ...

First of all GSA does work on Wine under Linux.. Bit slow and tempremental, but it does.. VP3 under Wine (or in my case Lager, heh) does also work, but the gfx always seem to mess up. If you have an ATI gfx card then there is probably nothing you can do, but NVIDIA cards seem to cope with it better....

Unless they create a Mac version specifically then it will not work.. Unless you can try it on Bootcamp in a VM. But even then most of the speed of the game would probably be terrible, I think..
