Re: Introducing my new Virtual Pool Blog

Lol cheers. That was a YouTube audioswap. 99% of bids are commentary.

Stay tuned, I like doing commentary and vp3 so works well!

Thanks again.

Introducing my new Virtual Pool Blog

Hi all, I should have done this years ago, but with VP4 approaching, here is my new blog: http://virtualpool4.blogspot.com (clickable link under my profile picture) I intend on doing my usual matches with commentary, as well as observing other matches and doing commentary. There will be a way of sky...

Re: Virtual World 9Ball Championship 2009 ODDS

With all due respect there is no way I am ever 75/1 no matter who is playing. I actually find that pretty disrespectful considering my results in the last year.

I think the cut of the pockets were generous and balls could be easily drifted in.

Re: Virtual World Snooker Championship 2009 ODDS

What would my odds be considering I won the Virutal World Open and have the best streak etc.

Why do I keep getting missed of these lists?

I disagree that you learn nothing playing offline. Stick yourself onto a challenge match in the beach house with Tall Steve or Curly and see how you get on. I play to a good standard these days most of the time and I generally win 17-12, sometime I win more easily and other times I can sometimes be ...

Thank You to...........

All the players that played in the Virtual World 9-Ball Open. We only had two forfeits throughout the entire tournament which was great. I managed to win :walk: , but had some awesome matches against Nuno, B11TME & Rocket in particular. Unfortunately I lost my entire hard drive with all the emai...

The clarification is already in my original post if you read it carefully. I put a star next to the name saying that its the easiest thing to change. If you called your tournament anything other than the World Championships there would be less entrants, hence my wish to give it a good name. But of c...

So the larger events would encourage you to play more, I think that's my point and I'm probably in the same boat. It's almost a self-fulfilling thing, we don't play because not many do, hence smaller fields. These large tournaments will help.

Vp3 Crisis

Hi, I have noticed that there are the same old faces appearing in each weekly 9-Ball tournament, and worryingly for everyone only around 8 - 10 at best on most weeks. I applaud Hugh for hosting the weekly tournaments, as without him the scene would fold to a standstill. I'm not knocking the other TD...

Having played and beaten a top ranked British 9-Ball player, and practised with a World Champion, I feel that the simple answer to the question is that we play this game as a simulation of the real thing, and the 9-Ball sim is VERY close to the real thing. Hence my love of it, because I love the rea...

I think by the time the draw is down to the last 8 you can pretty much take your pick from 8 strong players. Whoever gets down to the last 8 has made a good accomplishment.

Looking forward to seeing if I can do it.
